1. You must read the Range Rules and sign the Release form BEFORE entering the range.
2. Holstered handguns may be worn only by Law Enforcement personnel and employees or Oakwood Sportsman’s Lodge
3. No loaded guns except at the firing line.
4. No one under the influence of alcohol or drugs may use the range at any time. Anyone who appears to be under the influence will be instructed to leave the range.
5. Hearing and eye protection must be worn at all times while inside the range.
6. KEEP THE ACTION OF YOUR GUN OPEN while handling, inspecting, or making adjustments.
7. LOAD, UNLOAD, RELOAD AND FIRING ONLY WHILE INSIDE THE FIRING BOOTH. No gun handling behind the firing line.
8. No pistol grip shotguns or rifles. If you gun has a folding stock, it must be extended and used.
9. No shooting from the hip.
10. No drawing from the holster.
11. No rapid fire.
12. Pregnant women may not enter the range.
13. Convicted felons may not use the range.
14. No one under the age of 21 can rent, possess, or fire a handgun without an adult over the age of 21 present. They may however, possess and fire a rifle. No one under the age of 21 may purchase ammo.
15. No one under the age of 18 may use the range without a parent present.
16. No black powder is permitted.
17. You will be charged for any damage to the range.
18. Treat every gun as a loaded gun.
19. Profanity or abusive language are not permitted.
20. If at any time you see any action by another customer that is unsafe please bring it to the attention of the Range Master or the Manager on Duty immediately.
    

PARTICIPATION
Use of this facility is restricted

• No one barred from possessing a gun may shoot on the range.
• Children under 12 years of age are not allowed inside the firing range. Persons 12-18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult in the range.
• Adults are responsible for the conduct of children in the facility.

GUN RESTRICTIONS
Certain guns and practices are forbidden

• No black powder are permitted
• Holstered handguns may be worn in the classroom/showroom only by sworn law enforcement officers/ properly licensed individuals as determined by Oakwood Sportsman’s Lodge
• No fast draw from holsters to be used on the range except by a sworn law enforcement officer in Oakwood Sportsman’s Lodge’s discretion.
• On the firing range, targets may be placed from any distance from 1 to 25 yards.

GENERAL CONDUCT
This is a family facility

• Profanity and abusive language are not permitted.
• This facility is made available to law-abiding citizens, regardless of age, gender, race, religion, or national origin.
• For your safety, please follow instruction from any staff member.
